SRICHID GLOBAL MICROFINANCE FOUNDATION is established as a trust in Bangalore Karnataka, India. It seeks to develop into a lifeline provider, a single source for the social lending organisations for accessing guidance, consulting, training, technology support and funding resources.It is headed by Professor Satchidananda Sogala who has been a senior central banker and top corporate executive and a researcher who pioneered the GANASEVA Technology Solutions for delivering the services thru electronic platform and digital rural information infrastructure and the business models associated with it. GMFF has already entered into partnership with the US based consulting firm, DEVELOPMENT TECHNOLOGIES & RESEARCH for the latter's operations in India.

GMFF functions as an independent forum and a research-intensive think-tank for the development policies and programs of Governments, Regulators , Donor Agencies, NGOs and financing entities across the world. Armed with a group of consultants with specialization and practical experience of policy formulation, implementation and operational experience in different parts of the world in the domain of social and economic development, its focus and commitment are on enabling and supporting development solutions, primarily in the financing sphere. In the matter of research , it has been working with the Asian School of Business and a few other business schools.Partnership with the Seattle University and Portland University USA are in advanced stages.

Current offerings from the GMFF include research and training, consulting and advisory services for the social lending entities for setting up , mentoring, GRC support and technology solutions.
